The continuation of GANTZ, this movie follows Kei Kurono (Kazunari Ninomiya) as he keeps fighting and undergoes the missions from GANTZ. He tries to save as many people as possible by taking the lead in fighting aliens. As they continue to battle, their enemies are getting stronger. Then suddenly, Masaru Kato (Kenichi Matsuyama) comes back.

If the first movie was amazing, then this sequel will give you twice of the amazement. The plot is so much better, it only gets better as the story progresses. Each scene will make your mind blows. There are  a lot of new characters and every one of them is superb. Every character is essential to the movie and each scene entangles into a jaw dropping ending. I love and hate the ending at the same time. The effects is as phenomenal -if not better- as the first movie. I don't want to give any spoiler, so that's the best that I can describe about the movie. This one is very very recommended, you really have to watch it.

They're frozen in disbelief when they suddenly find themselves inside an apartment room. There, a giant black sphere called Gantz is waiting for them.

This is one of the best Japanese movies I've watched. It's based on a manga, but I only read it after I watch the movie. The movie's intense right from the start. The plot is amazing, I keep wondering what the hell is happening throughout the movie. The actors are also very good, each character stands out and play a big role in the story. The effects are also amazing, I don't think I can praise this movie enough. Each element combined and it's awesome! Great action and it'll make you don't want to leave your seat.

  • Mao Inoue as Miki Shirono
  • Gou Ayano as Yuji Akahoshi
  • Misako Renbutsu as Risako Kano
  • Nanao as Noriko Miki
  • Shihori Kanjiya as Yuko Tanimura
  • Nobuaki Kaneko as Satoshi Shinoyama

A female employee in a cosmetic company, Noriko Miki (Nanao), was found dead after a company party. She was stabbed and burnt not long after the party. Her co-worker, Miki Shirono (Mao Inoue), also disappeared after the party. She was last seen running to a train station. Yuji Akahoshi (Gou Ayano), a TV producer, tries to investigate Noriko's death and the disappearance of Miki Shirono.

This movie's great! The case seems simple but it gets complicated when the story changes every time a witness was interviewed. Each person has his/her own point of view which is very interesting to watch. And this movie also emphasizes the use and effect of a social media which open my eyes how easy it is to lead the masses through social media. The actors did good, you can feel their needs and emotions naturally. Overall, a very good movie.

That man, Cobb (Alex Haw), confronts The Young Man when he realized that he's being followed. Things get messier when Cobb invites The Young Man into his life as burglar.

One of the best movies I've ever watched. Intriguing right from the start, the plot is superb. Lots of twists and turns halfway into the movie. Each character is a mystery and you have to really pay attention to each scene to understand what's going on. A lot of flashbacks which makes it a little bit confusing, but at the end of the movie you'll finally understand the whole story (a little like Memento). Very recommended.

One of the best movies I watched. My favorite kind of movie, a little twist in the plot. Intriguing, it keeps you engaged, every seconds of it. Amazing plot that makes you wonder how it will end, and I couldn't predict that ending (God, I feel so dumb sometimes). I got surprised a lot watching this one. Everyone needs to watch this.

Cast
  • Kim Ha Neul as Min Soo Ah
  • Yoo Seung Ho as Kwon Ki Sub
  • Jo Hee Bong as Detective Jo
  • Yang Young Jo as Myung Jin
A series of missing girls has made the police stuck in that case. Detective Jo (Jo Hee Bong), a lower rank detective, is assigned to a seemingly ordinary hit and run case. The only witness for the hit and run case is Min Soo Ah (Kim Ha Neul) who happens to be blind. Min Soo Ah states that she was picked up by a taxi when it hits someone. Detective Jo who's not really interested in the case in the first place dismisses it quickly thinking that the taxi might only hit a dog for Min Soo Ah can't actually see what the taxi hits. But then another witness came to the police, Kwon Ki Sub (Yoo Seung Ho) states that he saw the incident and it wasn't a taxi, but an imported car. Detective Jo, thinking that it might be related to the missing girls case, start investigating it with the help of Min Soo Ah and Kwon Ki Sub. They don't realize that a mysterious man is stalking Soo Ah.

This movie is really great, how they try to find the criminal with the help of a blind girl. It's very interesting as it shows the point of view of a blind person. The plot is very engaging and the actors are great. I honestly didn't expect much of a Korean thriller movie, it's the first that I watch, but it was good. Most Korean movies that I watch is usually romance and it gets boring sometimes. If you want to watch Korean but not the romance genre, you should try to watch this.

Stuck in the mystery of the case, they seek help from a professional illusion exposer, Thaddeus Bradley (Freeman). The investigation leave Dylan and Alma to keep wondering which is illusion and which is reality.
I really really love this movie. It keeps me wondering who is the real bad guy the whole time. And the plot twist! Ah, the twist! It fooled me all right. I knew that there will be some twist at the end of the movie, but I didn't know that it would be that kind of twist. Arrrgh I felt stupid somehow after watching it. I don't want to spoil the movie for you, so you better watch it for yourself.
